CAREER PATH
Working within an agency construct, I managed account relationships for all the traditional purchases, television, radio, video, newspaper, magazine, event coordination, and also worked with production departments to see them through on time and on budget.

I transitioned into project management for a web development group, acting as a liaison between developers, creative teams. I created a safe and motivating space to allow our team to achieve all project goals within the given constraints.

Working with clients, programmers and creative teams I strive to reach and exceed goals while upholding brand standards respectively.  Although, I’ve held many different titles, my talent for building up teams, meeting and exceeding goals, content creation as well as documentation, and my saturation of experience building brands, led to a succession of independent consulting and facilitation assignments. I had a streak of mid-size manufacturing companies – there are many in Texas. I enjoy driving companies to, maximizing resources, by rethinking brand strategies to multiplying sales percentages.  I look for opportunities where I can use my rich experience to improve content and develop strategies for digital media campaigns and all that is required to make that happen.

VOLUNTEERISM
I have had the honor of volunteering my time with many nonprofit organizations over the years, such as the Houston Public Library, Mahatma Gandhi Library, Dikembe Mutombo Foundation, Arthritis Foundation, American Red Cross, M.D. Anderson Children’s Project, 90.1 FM Pacifica, KUHF Channel 8, Houston Heights Association, United Methodist Church, YMCA, DIFFA (Design Industries Foundation Fighting Aids), Girls In Tech, Generosity Culture, Undies For Everyone, United Way, and The Houston Center For Hearing and Speech to name a few.

EVENTS & TRAVEL
For my own pleasure, I have pursued photography and free-lance writing and blogging for more than two decades. I have written hundreds of press releases, for volunteer organizations. I have organized convention style corporate events, and live music events with 7k – 40k in attendance for work, volunteering and for pleasure. Google picked up my work, and invited me to be a Google Ambassador, a title I have held since 2016.
